Hard Disk plugged into USB port.?

Hi,
Can anyone please tell me if a hard disk plugged into the back of the 323 with ffp and the ko driver on it, is visible to the networked PCs as extra storage.?

I have 2*500GB drives in raid 1 and am looking to get a 1TB to back it up to, and use the other 500GB for extra storage that does not need raid.

TIA

If you mount it and share it, then yes, but it is what you choose to do that determines how it is used - there is no default setting.

I think it'll be more than just a 'little' - but at the same time - you don't have to be a linux guru either.

Here's a good thread to get you started.
