Can copy, can delete, can't rename?

I recently changed my DNS-323's Samba configuration to "security = USER" from "security = SHARE", and now I get an "Access Denied" message whenever I try to rename a file/directory from my Windows box.

I can copy files and create directories, I can delete files/directories, I just can't rename them. I've SSH'd in and done a chmod -R 777 on the whole drive (HD_b2) to make sure it wasn't some kind of permission issue, but the problem persists.

Obviously I have no problem renaming the files/directories through SSH, but it's a pain to have to have to do that any time I want to simply rename a file.

Does anyone have any ideas?
