Unfortunately no one can be told what fun_plug is - you have to see it for yourself.

DNS-323 1.05
With a new baby I really don't have time to mess around with my setup anymore so I need some help.
Firefly stops showing up in itunes when ssh starts up automatically, however I can still login to the firefly web gui. When I start ssh manually after restart firefly works fine with itunes.
My set includes (in order of install)
ffp 0.5
telnet
firefly
transmissionbt
ssh
I can only guess at the probable cause, but my main suspicions are..
Telnet conflict with SSH?
Installing firefly with Telnet login vs SSH login.. is root under SSH same as Telnet?
Installing SSH prior to anyother packages?
Thanks for any help in advance!

i believe the itunes software update caused the problem. i havent had it working since may/june. i read a few apple posts about it and a few people suggested downgrading to a previous itunes. thats when i just let it go.
someone else might reply back if im wrong, but im in the same boat and havent changed my DNS since Feb when my son was born, lol.

seeing this thread made me try it one more time. i got it working.
i did it on a new windows 7 install so i dont know if there was a problem with installing/removing itunes in the past.
i ran the install from itunes 8.0.2.20 (64bit) and it picked up my DNS right away. i havent done anything new to the DNS ffp for a long time. try finding an older itunes and see what happens.
