Unfortunately no one can be told what fun_plug is - you have to see it for yourself.

Cannot control by PuTTY

I haven't touched my NAS for a long time.
Today I just tried to log on by PuTTY. After Logged on and typed in the password, it showed

BusyBox v1.00-pre1 (2008.09.02-11:43+0000) Built-in shell (ash)
Enter 'help' for a list of built-in commands.

Then, then it is out of control...  I cannot put any command..... to change my setting any more.
I am not a real Linux user. Is there any one who can teach me how to fix it....?

Thanks,
Jjack

Re: Cannot control by PuTTY

I have this same issue, and I'm not sure what to do about it. I used my fun_plug script to chmod +x telnetd so I can telnet into it. However if I telnet in and run "login" put in my credentials it gives the same Busybox message and hangs.

Re: Cannot control by PuTTY

It doesn't hang. BusyBox is waiting for magic word, just enter 5784468 and you will see a command prompt.
