adding new hd to existing dns-323 setup?

hi

I read somwhere that adding a new disk to a dns323 with 1 disk already installed (and full :-(( ) isn't possible?

Is this true?

Something about needing to do a full backup and reformatting/initialising the existing disk??

(I am sure this has been posted before, but I've had no luck finding anything by searching )

Re: adding new hd to existing dns-323 setup?

You have not told us how which drive configuration you are planning to use
for the two disk setup, RAID0, RAID1, JBOD, individual disks?

DNS-323 • 2x Seagate Barracuda ES 7200.10 ST3250620NS 250GB SATAII (3.0Gb/s) 7200RPM 16MB • RAID1 • FW1.03 • ext2
