Unfortunately no one can be told what fun_plug is - you have to see it for yourself.

I am proud to annonce that my little application is available on the AppStore,
with DNS323 Manager you can :
- Shutdown
- Restart
- turn ON or OFF the Power Led
- and obtain the system temperature.

I'm not able to turn OFF the power light...
I'm running under 1.07 Firmware.

You are right, you can not turn the led off with Firmware 1.07 but you can with 1.08.
I Must fix the documentation !

I think it is a beta but it works fine for me;
I use only the network disk , I do not use itunes upnp ....
With the 1.08 you can control the fan speed too , it is useful .
