Hello,
I found topics on the DNS-323 having a 16MB ramdisk, which means 16MB out of 64MB is reserved for the ramdisk.
I have a CH3SNAS, but can't find any trace of a ramdisk
root@NAS:/ffp# df Filesystem 1k-blocks Used Available Use% Mounted on rootfs 9911 7518 1881 80% / /dev/root 9911 7518 1881 80% / /dev/loop0 5760 5760 0 100% /sys/crfs /dev/sda2 960404324 923216332 37187992 96% /mnt/HD_a2 /dev/sda4 497861 379 497482 0% /mnt/HD_a4 /dev/sdb1 1927104 1004376 824836 55% /mnt/usb
dmesg mentions the RAMDISK initialization, but nothing more:
RAMDISK driver initialized: 16 RAM disks of 10240K size 1024 blocksize o Ethernet descriptors in DRAM o DRAM SW cache-coherency RAMDISK: Compressed image found at block 0
Is there no ramdisk for CH3SNAS or should I use another command to detect it?
top is still showing about 64MB memory, but I don't really now how a ramdisk would affect the information reported by top.
