I put together a file server to replace my DNS-323. The drive bays quit working, but the unit boots up and you can access the interface. Someone suggested taking it apart and reseating the card the SATA ports are on. I'm not going to bother with it. If that doesn't fix it, maybe it can be sent in to DLink for repair. I have no idea how much that costs, but it is out of warranty by a few months. I hate to just toss it in the garbage. Does anyone want it? I'm in Denver, and I'd prefer to just meet somewhere to give it to you. If not, you can paypal the cost to ship it to you. Send me a message if you are interested.
