DSM-G600, DNS-3xx and NSA-220 Hack Forum

Hi,

I have a DNS-323 Rev. B1 and like to attach a Serial Port to install my own OS.

With Rev. A1 , you must soldering some cables on the board (described here http://dns323.kood.org/hardware:serial).

Rev. B1 have some sort of connector, you don't must soldering some cables.




So my  1 question is:

can I use the same How To (like Rev A1)  only without the soldering thing? (eg. with the Futurlec board).

my 2 question is:

where get I the power for the serial port?
