"starting over" fresh install of ffp & nzbget possible?

Hi

I have a strange problem, and I've not been able to find the problem.

Is it possible to remove all installed packages etc. & ffp, and install again?

my problem is nzb speed.

If I download a file from usenet on my PC I get maximum speed.
If I download the same file from usenet on NAS, I get shitty speed.

When I first installed it, all was well.. speeds on NAS at maximum.

So I am thinking that something is not right somewhere...

So a complete uninstall of what I've installed (nzbget, transmission & mldonkey)

I am not really familiar with linux and messing around with telnet, but I can read instructions, and don't mind just a link to a help page.!

only other thing I've been thinking.. does the amount of space left on the harddrive have an impact on speed? No? didn't think so... ?
