Unfortunately no one can be told what fun_plug is - you have to see it for yourself.

will firmware upgrade affect fun_plug?

I've got a dns_323 (fw 1.03) and a dns321 (fw 1.01).  They are both running fun_plug (for rsync).  I'd like to upgrade them to their latest respective firmwares, so I can upgrade to some larger drives.  Will upgrading the firmware affect fun_plug and/or its config files?

thanks

Re: will firmware upgrade affect fun_plug?

No, but best is to disable funplug by removing the funplug file temporarily and do a restart. Then install latest firmware, do again a restart and copy the funplug file back and do a restart once more to enable funplug again.

Re: will firmware upgrade affect fun_plug?

Hi,
I have upgraded from 1.03, ffp0.3 to 1.07 - no issues kept ffp 0.3 as it was - just have done a factory reset via WEB afterwards.
OXYL kept running, NFS still fine and the fan stop kept working too. Rsync ( weekly copy from A to B ) is also not affected.
I have not re-formated - still EXT2 ( have not been asked during the upgrade )
