Dear All,
When DNS is connected to my notebook through WIFI router D-Link DSL G624T, then the connection is extremely slow. For instance, when I try to log into admin web, then there is a message:
"ATTENTION : Backup your files before proceeding! To stabilize operation, please login and select TOOLS ---> RAID to reformat your device with an EXT2 file"
BUT, when I switch on the desktop PC through ethernet cable, then also the speed of WIFI connection to notebook improves significantly. Then the WIFI speed is not so bad, at least the above message disappears.
I installed ffp and fsck package and run e2fsck check few times. It founded some filesystem errors. One file out of 80GB was damaged and I lost it completely. It sucks.
Since then I run e2fsck time to time, sometimes there is error that counts of free and used blocks does not match.
I have tried to find out, what processes are running on DNS, because the blue control LED of the network flickers all the time (but HD is not spinning). PS command returned 40 processes, out of them five were like that: "./bt --daemon-loop".
It looks like that bittorrent daemons are not ended properly (and I used bittorrent for downloading).
The DNS firmware is 1.06 and HD is GP WD15EADS, 1.5TB, 6 months old.
Generally, I am pretty confused, what to do.
May firmware upgrade solve the problem?
Or shall I reformat EXT2?
Or shall I use beta 1.08b09 FW and reformat to EXT3?
Or it is hardware failure?
Are my data in danger?
Please, can you help.
Thanks a lot in advance.

I did an experiment.
First, I upgraded FW to 1.08b09. It does not help neither with WIFI speed problem when no other PS is connected through ethernet cable (when other PC is connected, WIFI spedd is fine, still).
Nor with the bt deamons. I tried to bittorrent some file and number of bt daemons increased from 5 to 6. But the daemon has not disappeared, when download was finished and in the web client I click remove torrent.
Each daemon consumes apprx. 15% of memory, so i think it can be a reason for slowing.
When I try to kill one of them, they are all restarted again.
Please, has someone any idea, how to kill the bt daemons?
Thanks in advance.
