OS configurations for higher throughput?
I have two laptops, one with Windows XP Pro SP3 installed and the other with Windows 7 Ultimate.
The XP one _consistently_ gets 1.5x to 2.5x higher speeds transferring files wirelessly to/from the dns-323 than the win7 box.
Can you suggest some changes I might make on the win7 laptop to improve throughput?
PS: on a completely different matter, I am running the DNS-323 with the 1.06 firmware. I had a look at the release notes for 1.07 and the only thing mentioned there was a fix for a Hitachi drive. Are there any other benefits to this fw?
