Unfortunately no one can be told what fun_plug is - you have to see it for yourself.

Hi there everyone;
I'm new here. Seems like a great forum.
Anyway, I just got the 323, and, I'm quite impressed so far. I unpacked it, slapped in a hard drive, formatted it, and then I updated the firmware to 1.08. Then, I installed fun_plug as per (http://dns323.kood.org/howto:1st_steps). However, after reboot, and logging into the ftp, I get an invalid command after running pwconv. So, I put a "?" to see what a list of the commands were, and, pwconv isn't in the list of commands.
Anyone have an idea? I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanx

canus,
pwconv is on the 'shadow' package of the funplug additional packages.
Go to:
http://www.inreto.de/dns323/fun-plug/0.5/
And follow the instructions (rsync) to install the additional packages.

Unless I am mistaken, you indicated you logged through FTP and issued that pwconv command, which was incorrect. FTP was meant to copy the ffp package over and that it, you need to use telnet to access and continue your steps.

Thanx.
Actually, I think you're right, I need to telnet into the box. I'm going to try now. And, thank you for the link, I'll check into that as well.

haha, thank you anhthien. You were right, I was trying ftp instead of telnet. Telnet worked. A bozo mistake on my part.
