Unfortunately no one can be told what fun_plug is - you have to see it for yourself.

fonz fun plug questions

Hi All,

I'm thinking about installing fonz funplug. The reason for this is that I want Transmission as BT client on my NAS. In the readme of this funplug it says:
"Many programs are included in the tarball, e.g.

    * Lighttpd Web Server
    * OpenSSH Secure Shell
    * Mediatomb UPnP Media Server
    * NTP Network Time Daemon
    * UNFS3 User-Space NFS Server
    * NFS-Utils NFS Server (requires kernel support)
    * RSync File Transfer Utility"

Are these services all installed and running? Or are these available to switch on? How can I configure what to run and what not?

Maybe this question is already answered, but I cannot find this answer. Your help is appreciated!

Thanks,
Anton

Re: fonz fun plug questions

All those services are available to turn them on. It's configurable by setting executable flag on files in /ffp/start/ directory.

Re: fonz fun plug questions

Thanks!

Installed the funplug and added Transmission. Everything works fine, I also understand the way services can be switched on or off!

I'm happy :-)

Anton
