./transmission.sh stop does not stop transmission...

when I do :

Code:

 /mnt/HD_a2/ffp/start/./transmission.sh stop

I get:

Code:

 Stopping transmission-daemon

but I can still access the WebUI.

if I do

Code:

 top

I see that I have 3 instances of transmission-daemon running, taking up 60% of my memory!!  I am going to try to kill them right now and see what happens...

any suggestions would be appreciated.

thanks

*EDIT* killing the processes by PID, or name does not seem to work either...

Re: ./transmission.sh stop does not stop transmission...

It usually seems to take 30 or so seconds after stopping for the processes to clear up on my box.

These stay in RAM even after a reboot...  Which is very odd..  I restored factory settings, I am now checking to see if that helps..

Re: ./transmission.sh stop does not stop transmission...

ok I removed /ffp from my hard drive, reset the 323 to factory settings, and started over.  I installed the newest version of transmission, 1.92, which is working great.  Everything seems to be in order now..
