Unfortunately no one can be told what fun_plug is - you have to see it for yourself.

Hi,
I'm trying to decide between the 321 and 323. The USB port doesn't really matter to me, so that's not a big deal. Basically I want to be able to SSH into the box while I'm out and about, and I would like to be able to stream media to my DirecTV receiver.
The DirecTV receiver works with Windows, but I run Linux, so that's out of the question. Will the default DLink UPnP software support the DTV unit?
As for SSH, I'm assuming these directions are what I'll need to follow to set funplug up on the 321:
http://dns323.kood.org/howto:ffp?s=dns%20321
Are those directions current? Would the 321 do what I need, or would I be better off with the 323?

All the devices DNS 313, 321 and 323 do support ssh, if you install fonz fun_plug (ffp) on them.
For Upnp server, I can't help, because I have never used it.
In case of problem with DLink UPnP software, one solution will be to use MediaTomb or Twonkymedia, available through ffp.
