question about funplug file edits

Hi all...i'm going through the appletalk setup process detailed here: http://dns323.kood.org/howto:appletalk

and this is my first attempt at modifying my 323, and i'm pretty ignorant when it comes to funplug and even telnet and ssh but i've managed to get funplug up and running and the packages at the link above installed and working, but i got down to where i'm supposed to edit the afpd.sh file so appletalk will start automatically but i'm not sure how i go about editing that file.  stupid question, maybe, but i can't overwrite it through explorer and i can't seem to find a telnet/ssh command to open and edit a file in putty.

so my question is how do i modify files?  through putty?  and if so what's the command i'm looking for?

thanks for the help...and not laughing too loudly at my question smile

Re: question about funplug file edits

get nano from this forum, use it like 'nano /path/file' and ctrl+x to close the edited file
