Hi all,
I have enabled the Bittorrent client via the DLink search utility.
I don't use it anymore so I wanted to disable it but each time I click on the bittorrent it restarts the NAS and
the client is still there in my list of process...
I didn't found a mean via the GUI to deactivate it. What do I need to modify (via SSH) to stop it definitively (even after a reboot) ?
Thanks in advance for your help,
Cheers,
Seb

I have FW 1.7 but I believe that this can be done be removing the Nas_Prog/BT folder on both of the disks. I would just try renaming them first. Then reboot.
Since you have SSH going, I would just go in there and
cd /mnt/HD_a2/Nas_Prog
mv BT BT.save
cd /mnt/HD_b2/Nas_Prog (if it exists)
mv BT BT.save
The /etc/rc.sh script that runs at boot time checks for the existence of these directories and starts btdog if either of them exists.
You can always put things back by reinstalling BT off the discovery CD or moving the BT dirs back.
If FW 1.8 is different, try inspecting the /etc/rc.sh file or its equivalent to see how BT gets launched.
