I am trying to configure email alerts and tests have failed.
My Configuration (DNS-323)
Firmware: 1.08
E-MAIL ALERT SETTINGS :
Login Method: Account
Username: user (without @gmail.com)
Password: password
Port: 587
SMTP Server: smtp.gmail.com
Sender E-mail: user@gmail.com
Receiver E-mail: other.account@gmail.com - yahoo.com - etc.
SMTP Authentication: yes
Result: Test result: Failure
Gmail Account has Disable IMAP and Disable POP

Hi,
I have about the same settings apart from
Port: 25
Username: user@gmail.com (full)
and it has been working before, but actully it dont work now so maybe google is having some problems atm?

smtp.gmail.com is supposed to be setup with TLS encryption ... and I'm not sure the DNS-323 can support this ...
So I think you should use the smtp server provided by your Internet provider, instead.
EDIT :
Username: user (without @gmail.com)
By the way, I use "user@gmail.com" as login, on my computer.
