Unfortunately no one can be told what fun_plug is - you have to see it for yourself.

I would like to find an email server that will run on the DNS-323.

I run Postfix for SMTP and dovecot for IMAP ... both under Debian chroot.

postfix, sendmail, and xmail are all available as optware ipk's, also available in the feed are some mail forwarders and retrievers.
See http://dns323.kood.org/howto:optware for setup instruction.

Hi all,
my favorit is roundcube. This is very nice IMAP and SMTP-webmailer under PHP and Mysql.

Just a clarification ... Roundcube is a mail client ... you need to have IMAP and SMTP servers to connect to.
I have Roundcube installed with lighttpd. I recommend if you do so, you use the sqlite library instead of mysql.

I've tried to use sendmail in v0.5 but can't quite get the syntax. Here's my sendmail command line:
# sendmail -U abc@xyzdom.com -P mypass -t user@domain2.com -s my_Subject smtpout.secureserver.net:80 user3@domain2.com My_body
but it returns the following...
sendmail: RCPT TO:<user@domain2com> failed
Do I have the syntax correct?
I'm testing this (to verify sendmail is working) because I get an error message when trying to get DokuWiki on my DNS-323 to register guests. Here's the error I get when a new user registers: "Looks like there was an error on sending the password mail. Please contact the admin"
