Big v1.08 vs Small v1.09
Why is the DNS-323 v1.09 firmware so much smaller than v1.08?
Can I mount them and compare them for myself?

Finding an answer to part of my post from "D-Link Multimedia", who says:
"Well technically there is another change which is the change of compression type for firmware...a reason why the firmware is smaller. Allows us to add more stuff to the firmware without the need of an addon... 
Not really a noteworthy feature since it doesn't really benefit users just yet."
Also mentions that v1.09 is a Canada/USA release only with the Online Backup service, and that v1.10 appears to be on a 2010 release schedule.
