Because I was fooling around with the DNS323 and it fell out, dropped 3 meters onto a concrete floor.
I was OK because it was a mirror.
New HDD ordered, should arrive within a week (I hope).
It was just a funny situation, one of my hard drives died ..... because I dropped it 3 meters onto a concrete floor.
Silly me. $130 AUD it costs for new drive. I bought exactly the same brand and model. 1.5T

Hope you had it backed up - it could just as easily have been both.
