Playing my music at work, not local network

Hi all,

There is probably a way to do this, but I can't seem to find it or maybe I am just completely blind. I am wanting to set up some type of media server so that I can access it while I'm at work to just play my music off of the DNS323. From what I understand all the media sharing stuff (upnp) is for the local network, so I didn't think that would work.

Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers,

Danny

AFAIK uPnP should work fine over a VPN. But it's easier to install MusicBrowser. When you use that over the internet, configure your webserver to restrict the access to that page, else you're sharing copyrighted files.
