Unfortunately no one can be told what fun_plug is - you have to see it for yourself.

Enable FTP through the admin pages and set up an ftp user.
2.
Create a test fun_plug on your system.
3.
Connect to your DNS-323 using a command line ftp client (in windows: start / run / ftp)
4.
Change to the right directory: cd /
5.
Upload your fun_plug: put fun_plug
At step 5, the message "Permission denied" is displayed
Is somebody may help me ?

You should put fun_plug in the root of Volume_1

Yes.
That's working when putting this file with a Windows network connection.
Thanks for your help.

I have put fun_plug and fun_plug.tar in the root of Volume_1, rebooted. Nothing seems to have happened. How do I know it's running? Am I supposed to see something somewhere? Where.
I normally use a Windows XP box. I installed Xandros Linux as a dual boot and even with it running instead of windows, it sees the DNS 323 fine on the LAN, but I still don't see anything that lead me to a next step.
When I checked show all hidden files in Linux and go to the DNS box I see two directories revealed: ADMIN$ and IPC$. I clilck "mount them" and got a response, these do not exist, do you want to create them?. I clicked "no" having no idea what I'm doing
Can some one bail me out?

After reboot, the "fun_plug.tar" should have disappeared. Instead, a new directory fun_plug.d/ should appear. There's also a log file fun_plug.d/log/fun_plug.log.
If all this happened, the funplug installed correctly and you should be able to telnet to your box. If not, check that fun_plug is executable.
