Firmware update trouble

Just updated firmware to 1.09 from 1.05 and when it finished it said it completed successfully and to reboot the device,  I bought new drives to throw in after updating the firmware and now i can't even access the web config page.......when i power up the unit the network light is only on for 30 secs or so and then it just turns off and there is no access whatsoever.   Not sure if the flash didn't work correcty or there is a different way to access config so i can get my new drives up and going.   any advice?

Re: Firmware update trouble

Sounds like a failed flash to me - with 1.09  you access the DNS-323 the same way as all the other versions.  Start by trying a reset to default using the reset switch, and if that doesn't help, you can check the wiki - I think there's a way to recover using a serial cable.

Good luck.

Re: Firmware update trouble

On the back between the network connector and the power connector, there is a small hole. Use a paper clip.

3 * (DNS-323 with 2 * 2TB) = 12TB Running FW v1.08 & FFP v0.5
