Uploading torrents to Transmission

Hi,
I have been having a minor problem with uploading torrents to the Transmission Web Interface.
When I download the torrent to my computer and then browse through the folders and upload the torrent it works fine. However, if I try to insert the url of the torrent instead, nothing happens. It used to work earlier, but over the last month or so, it seems to have stopped. Not a major problem when I am at home downloading stuff....but I use an app called TorrentTrak on my iPhone to remotely download stuff and the only option for inserting torrents is to paste the url.
Any help, please

Thanks in advance

What happens when you try to insert a magnet link?

Have you checked the transmission logs?

Re: Uploading torrents to Transmission

How do I insert a magnet link? There only seems to be an option for one link in the p2p sites.
Here is the log when I try to upload a torrent via url .

[09:47:50.740] Invalid metadata entry "info" (metainfo.c:563)

Searching through the forums in Transmission, it seems to be a feature that was taken off initially and then added back.
In my case, it was definitely working a month ago and it seems to have stopped lately without me updating anything....which is a bit puzzling.
