DNS-323 Kernel transfer errors with Kermit

Hi guys,

I just can't seem to be able to upload anything into my bricked NAS. I'm just getting transfer errors....Anyone can help? I see the boot process so i know my connection is correct but the rest just fails miserably.
Here is my kermit config and a screenshot of the data transfer.

Note: I'm using a usb converter on my windows box which is mapped to a ubuntu virtual machine as port com 4 (ttyS3)

set line /dev/ttyS3
set speed 115200
set serial 8n1
set carrier-watch off
set flow-control none
set handshake none
set prefixing all
set streaming off
set parity none
robust
set rec pack 1000
set send pack 1000

Thanks for your help!

Re: DNS-323 Kernel transfer errors with Kermit

I ended up using ttyUSB0 instead of ttyS3 since virtualbox can map usb devices in VMs. It worked like a charm. The only problem i had was that i uploaded firmware v1.00 and it won't work without drives OR with ntfs formatted drives. That much i didn't know. On last resort i tried v1.03 which worked like a charm. Upgraded to 1.09 with the interface and so far so good! Hope this helps someone.
