DNS-323 + Mediatomb + PS3 help please

Hey everyone, trying to get transcoding to work with my setup here.  I am slowly starting to understand the config.xml file, but I need a bit of help with the programs used to transcode and where to get them and how to install them properly.  What is the best program to use?  I want one program that can transcode anything, and mainly, I'm only concerned about .mkv files because everything else I have will work fine, but regardless, I would like to have a config file, and program installation that will convert anything I put into it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: DNS-323 + Mediatomb + PS3 help please

For what it's worth, I used a transcoder on my Mac Book Pro to real-time transcode MKV's into a datastream the PS3 could understand, however this often took 100% of both CPU cores on a Core 2 Duo 2.13Ghz with 3Gb RAM. I'm not sure the little CPU in the DNS323 will be capable of transcoding.

Re: DNS-323 + Mediatomb + PS3 help please

Hey, the box can definetly do it as others have had success.  I'm now able to see the file on the PS3 but it shows as unsupported data.  Not too sure where to go from here.  I have the config.xml file mimetypes setup so I don't see why it can't recognize...anyone have any ideas?

323 Definitely cannot transcode videofiles at all. It has 500MHz ARM processor with one core and 64Mbyte of RAM. Only one thing that it can transcode is some audiofiles.
