Unable to download packages from inreto.de

I am very new to DNS-323. I've been able to install fun-plug successfully, but couldn't download the packages provided by Fonz. I used following commands:

mkdir /ffp/pkg/
cd /ffp/pkg/
rsync -av --delete inreto.de::dns323/fun-plug/0.5/packages .

The error messages I've got:

rsync: getaddrinfo: inreto.de 873: Name or service not known
rsync error: error in socket IO (code 10) at clientserver.c(122) [receiver=3.0.4]

Then I tested the network connect, it seems it can't connect to outside world:

root@GreenBay:/mnt/HD_a2/ffp/pkg# ping google.com
ping: bad address 'google.com'

Can you advice me how to solve to problem? Many thanks.

Enter a valid Network Configuration in the NAS. Especially the DNS-Server is wrong wink

Re: Unable to download packages from inreto.de

Thanks, DeLaCroix. Indeed, I did not put the DNS servers.

Hi Forum.

I'm getting the same error as stated above.

Can someone write more detailed information (Step by step) on how to resolve this issue?

Thank you.

Re: Unable to download packages from inreto.de

Under Setup -> LAN ensure that the gateway address (if using a static IP) and the DNS entries are correct.

This is under the DNS-323 web interface (in case you needed Step 0).  So, whatever IP your router assigns (or you've assigned to) your NAS.
