I successfully installed funplug and got squeezeboxserver running (but no mp4)

Anyway, after reading http://dns323.kood.org/howto:ffp and following the instruction in 'the root user' section, I have a problem...

After restarting the DNS323 and 'telnetting' in under new root login & password, i get the following:

"cannot execute /ff[/bin/sh: no such file or directory" and then the coneection drops. So I cant telnet is as root.

I am new to unix so suspect I have done something wrong

Most of the stuff on the wiki requires that you copy it carefully. It's /ffp/bin/sh.
To fix it, read to the end of that section, especially the part about "Reactivating telnet".

PS: If all you want is squeezecenter and if you've installed the squeezecenter funplug, there's really no reason to do all the wiki stuff.

Thanks fonz, I've got telnet going again

Can you help on what I need to do to install faad? I have the tgz file ( faad2-2.6-ffp0.5.tgz) but not sure how to install it on the DNS323. I assume this is what i need to play mp4 on squeezebox?
