[321] Mediatomb database doesn't autorefresh

I'm using a DNS-321.

I installed the latest Mediatomb package I could find (0.12 I think) and configured everything to my liking for use with my PS3.

The database filed up with all my media files and the streaming works fine.

However, even though I set the media folder to refresh every 1800 seconds (30 minutes), new files don't get added. If I go to the Filesystem view, select the folder and click Add, it gets updated. However, I'd like to get it to work correctly.

I tried installing a version compiled with inotify, but I don't think that the DNS-321 supports it.

Anyone else ever experienced the same thing?
Is there a log file or something similar that could help me debug what's going on?

Re: [321] Mediatomb database doesn't autorefresh

Hi,

I'm thinking of setting up mediatomb on my 323 to watch movies on my ps3, however, I'm not too sure what I need to do.
Are you using the mediatomb installed with fonz fun_plug?
How did you set it all up?
Was it just using the forum/wiki?
Currently using the 323 firmware 1.08 upnp stuff I can (on the ps3) go to media servers, see my 323, naviagte to where I have an avi file, and it tells me there is no media?

Sorry for so many questions...

Cheers,
B

Yeah, following the instructions on the wiki or look around the forum, there's tons of info.

The installation/configuration is very easy.
