It doesn't appear possible to set my DNS-323 to Gigabit Ethernet.
Within Setup -> LAN, in "Lan Settings" it states "Speed 100 Mbps". Link Speed is set to "Auto". The 1000 Mbps radio button is greyed out.
I'm using a DNS-323 Rev A1 FW 1.08 and a Billion BiPAC 7800N, that contains a gigabit router.
Any suggestions?

The system has auto-negotiated 100 mbps - the option is greyed out to protect you from yourself - if you were able to change it, you'd find yourself no longer able to communicate with the NAS, forcing a reset to factory defaults - what you need to do is determine why it's not auto negotiating a gigabit connection and fix that.
Start by changing the cable connecting the NAS to the router
