Hi . I was a happy user of the DNS-323 until the power went off and came back on. Now all i see is a blinking off button.
I have tried reset. Unplugging the power. Removing the hard drives. Still a blinking OFF button.
It was working great before. Now i can not access it thru the windows explorer or the sharecenter, they do not even see that it is there to run a setup.
In my on defense i have been bitten before, So i did invest in a VERY good power strip. Computer, monitor, printer, router and modem are all on the same strip. Just the DNS died on me.
It is less than 2 months old but the warrenty does not cover power outage from what i can read.
SO the question is. Anyway to revive a brick?

I don't know if there is a way to revive it, but I would say that if it is only 2 months old I would still try to get them to fix it on the warranty (you don't have to really go into details when you ask for the about the warranty). I was just wondering do those expensive power strips still claim they will replace items that get fried while hooked to their power strip?
P.S. You do know that the reset only works while the DNS-323 is powered up, right?
