Unfortunately no one can be told what fun_plug is - you have to see it for yourself.

Backing up fun_plug with installed daemons and libraries

Hi all,

I finally got my NAS working as a Transmission+Automatic Bittorrent client through fun_plug. Will it work when I just copy/paste the files present on the mounted network drive with, say, Windows Explorer, and place them on another harddrive when this one fails?

Kind regards

Best to use a Linux command to maintain permissions. tar the FFP directory for example. You can just copy files back and forth, but you have to watch permissions and ownership.

3 * (DNS-323 with 2 * 2TB) = 12TB Running FW v1.08 & FFP v0.5

Alright, thank you. By the way, the problem with Googling this matter is that 99 out of 100 results are rsync and/or backup related, not actually backing up fun_plug settings tongue
