I am interested in setting up MRTG to run on my DNS-323, however doing a search on this forum notice nobody has asked the question before. Can it be done? I have no other machine in my network that runs 24/7.

I am a bit of a n00b yes, so any advice would be appreciated. Have previously had MRTG running on home Win NT, Win 2K and RedHat servers.

mrtg is in optware/dns323 ipkg feed, see http://nslu2-linux.org/wiki/Optware/Dns323 on how to setup.

nice thx tried it out and i works, remember that you need to install net-snmp_5.4.1.1-1_arm.ipk too.

not on ffp but optware, but actully it dont work anymore think i have some problem with perl on my optware, anyone who have compiled it for ffp?

Install went OK with optware. I just followed the guide. Would it be difficult to port it to ffp ?
It also upgraded to ffp 5 withtou issues thanks to the great docs available here. congrats to all !
