Unfortunately no one can be told what fun_plug is - you have to see it for yourself.

I have two DNS-323s on my home network - one is native as received from D-Link and the second has fun-plug installed on it. On the unit with fun-plug, I have (or had) ssh, http and mysql activated. All have been working without problem until recently. While online yesterday, I was notified by another person that they were unable to access my web site on the DNS-323. Tried to access from one of my local machines are got a similar unable to access message. I though initially that maybe the dynamic IP resolution needed to be updated but when I checked, it was valid. Then tried to ssh to the fun-plug unit and got the message that the "connection refused". Then tried to telnet and ssh to the native machine but was not able to connect. Though it might be a router problem so backed out to a configuration that I knew had been working but no change. The last time I was working on the fun-plug unit was about a month ago when I was setting up the fun-plug and installing the SMF application - both ssh and http were working fine at that point. The only thing that I can think of is that the fun-plug machine has been rebooted in that timeframe but that wouldn't explain why I couldn't telnet to the native DNS-323. What am I missing? How do I get access to either/both of the DNS-323s via a terminal?

It isn't clear if you have tried restarting and/or a reset on the unit.

Yes - I did restart the machine but it had no effect.
I had forgot to check the error log file and noted the following:
2011-03-23 18:09:50: (server.c.1503) server stopped by UID = 0 PID = 1
2011-03-23 18:11:34: (log.c.166) server started
2011-03-25 06:52:57: (server.c.1503) server stopped by UID = 0 PID = 1
2011-03-25 06:55:02: (log.c.166) server started
2011-04-01 20:16:59: (request.c.1141) POST-request, but content-length missing -> 411
I have shut down and rebooted the machine daily but there has been no entries since the above - is this saying there is a corrupt file?

Furthur investigation has found some corrupted files that prevented the services from starting - reinstalled fun-plug and all is back to normal.
