Unfortunately no one can be told what fun_plug is - you have to see it for yourself.

I setup my DNS-323 in Oct 2009 with my old XP computer
I've upgraded to a win7 computer, but now I'm not the owner of the NAS files.
So I can't change the permissions on those files.
My DNS-323 lists "root (Unix User\root)" as the current owner.
I can see my computer listed below as an option to change owner.
But I don’t have permission to change the owner.
How do I get around this problem?
DNS-323 Current Firmware Version 1.09 if it matters

You can log in via telnet or SSH and change the ownership with the chown command or map the drive using the original credentials.
