Hi all,

I Just installed the Fun_Plug onto my DNS 323, and i go to wget a script it fails because it cannot find the host, i have a static ip and the DNS Server is doing the lookup correctly from my windows pc, i have checked the UI and the /etc/resolv.conf and they are set correctly. i can ping internet ip's also its just the DNS 323 that can't resolve anything

is there anything im missing

Thanks in Advance

Do you have a static ip address set on the DNS-323?  If yes - do you have the DNS server AND gateway entries populated?

Re: DNS Lookups Failing on DNS 323

Since he can ping by IP, the gateway value should be correct.

If resolv.conf has the appropriate DNS IP addresses, but don't resolve, the only thing I can think of is perhaps there is a routing table in the router that is blocking the return path?

Can you try putting the IP of the DNS323 into a DMZ as a trial?

Of course you should triple check the DNS IP address and perhaps try an alternate DNS just to be sure.

3 * (DNS-323 with 2 * 2TB) = 12TB Running FW v1.08 & FFP v0.5
