Unfortunately no one can be told what fun_plug is - you have to see it for yourself.

One thing is on my mind, why do i get FAILED on the Disk Tools 'scan disk' ? Do i have to be worried? The drive is on ext3.
I believe you have to disable fun_plug to get the Disk Tools to function properly. What I had to do (all through gui) to run a Disk Tools scan:
* on Volume_1, rename fun_plug to something else
* in the gui - Tools - System - Restart
* in the gui = Tools - Disk Tools run scan disk on Volume_1
* --- Restart
* on Volume_1 rename something else to fun_plug
* --- Restart
YMMV, but this is what I had to do to scan Volume_1 with fw 1.09 and fun plug 0.05. I could scan Volume_2 no problems.
Or use the SMART utilities as FunFiler suggests.
