Hello,
I know the USB interface on DNS-323 is not made for many devices... it's made for a printer... however, I see that many people are connecting a usb memory stick and do the "trick", and have it working...
I have to do the same but with a USB WiFi network adapter, so that the NAS can connect through WiFi directly to an AP/Router.
Yes, I know about the performance, throughput and interferences, and yes, I know about the possibility to create a wifi bridge by using two AP/Routers, but I still have to do it like that - by using a USB WiFi network adapter.
Is here anyone who did it and had it working?
If so, can you tell me the exact model of your USB WiFi network adapter and maybe you can provide a short step-by-step procedure on how to install it and make it working?
Thank you,

I think the biggest problem to what you want to do will be finding the necessary drivers for the USB WiFi that will run on the DNS-323. I would have thought that a small single port AP, something like the EdiMax EW-7206APG would be the better option.

Unfortunately this is not an option.
DNS-323 exists since 2006 (at least this is when the firmware 1.00 was released), maybe someone in these 5 years tried to do this and succeeded?
