Replaced DNS-323

Last week my 3yr old 323 died, after the manual reset attempts and other CPR, I pronounced the time of death.

My old configuration was two 2-TB drives configured as two volumes.

I've received my new DNS and wanted to find out what I need to do to install these formatted drives without getting them reformatted.

Any guidance would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Re: Replaced DNS-323

Put the drives in the new enclosure, plug the cables in, and power it up - you may need to use the ESU to locate the new unit and set it's ip address, and then create your users and shares - it should not prompt you to format the drives.

Oh - you might want to update the firmware as well.

I was hoping it would be that easy, but it sounded too big_smile easy
