Rackmount solution

I'm using a couple of DNS-323 und DNS-320 here, with ffp and a custom backup solution. Very satisfied with the hard- and software.

Anyway, I'm looking for a 19" rackmount hardware with comparable specs, but fast (faster then DNS) ethernet, 2 to 4 disks. Linux. And the 19" form factor. Cheap.

Any pointers where to look at? Any suggestions?

Thanks

Re: Rackmount solution

I would start with a search for "1U server" on eBay.  There always seems to be quite a selection there and you can probably find one with the price and specs you want.

DNS-323 FW 1.07 : 2 1TB WD Caviar Green SATA : fun_plug: utelnet + optware (no ffp)

Re: Rackmount solution

What does this have to do with the topic of the forum?

3 * (DNS-323 with 2 * 2TB) = 12TB Running FW v1.08 & FFP v0.5
Useful Links: Transmission, Transmission Remote, Automatic
