Went to their webpage

Same thing, that is how I ended up here.  I emailed D-Link Support about the forum issue as well as another issue, but they didn't address the issues with the forum.  'Til now, thought maybe it was just me wink

Thanks for answering. I had thought  it's something wrong with by browser/add-ons/antivirus etc settings.

Very strange. If they decide to close/lock the forum, why not to notify about it on main page or at least not to leave registration page in place

Re: Can't register on d-link forum "register" button is not clickable ?

I published the same message on SMF forum ( SMF develops software to host and maintain forums including d-link one).

Here is the reply from SMF

"the issue has been reported before, sm, smf, and the smf team is not affiliated with that forum we just create the software you need to contact d-link to get the issue fixed."

Looks like D-Link for unexplainable reasons knowingly decided to lock their forum for new participants
and even-stranger than that didn't make it official. It speaks very bad about this company. They are certainly aware about the issue for some time but have done nothing to solve, so I do believe it's not a bug but rather done intentionally

The only reason I can think of - may be recently there were many complaints about quality of their products on their forums, so they decided to lock it. It's very far fetched but that's othe only logical explanation.

I have few of their products including DNS-323 (which recently had problesm with fan controller and it costs me the harddrive) and I am not sure I'll be buying their devices again. Pretty much every other tech company maintain use forums and it's the first case I am aware when a company intentionally locks registration of new participants. I'll be writing it in my review on amazon.com for DNS-323

Well I remember seeing a post about a month ago that the guy that was supporting the forum was leaving D-Link, and didn't know if there would be a replacement, and I have not seen any announcement of a new person taking over.

I have always noticed that the forum has a title of Beta.
