Unfortunately no one can be told what fun_plug is - you have to see it for yourself.

Help with fsck

Since having a power cut, I have been having problems with the DNS 323.

I could ssh to it but open the disk(s) in Windows it would work sometimes and others not. Also pink LED's would show.

The disks are separate, and I had planned to do the time machine sync from one to other. So one has all files, the other is just blank pretty much.

Due to these performance problems, I have looked at fsck in the hope it would fix my disks. I installed bash and followed instructions and run

e2fsck /dev/sda2

This said something about found errors and starting to check or something similar. I thought was all ok until it said "Lost connection - press any key to continue". Since then I cannot do anything, not even telnet. The DNS has the network light on/flickering but no disk lights are on.

Please could someone give advice on where to go from here.

Thanks

Re: Help with fsck

jebise - I can't get to the webpage and before using fsck I tried using the disk scan on the webpage but it failed each time.

bjby - I followed the instructions on that and it seemed to be going well before losing connection
