running Pearl scripts

has anybody tried to get Pearl running on the DNS-323. i was specifically thinking of running Sonosweb directly on the device.

perl 5.8.8 ipk and a few perl packages are in optware/dns323 feed. See http://www.nslu2-linux.org/wiki/Optware/Dns323 for ipkg setup instruction.

fonz's Fun_plug 0.5 has a Perl package.

I did not test it yet, but will do it soon.

oh crap... i just installed the optware Perl package.... i hope that didnt nuke my funplug Perl did it?  maybe that is why my phpmyadmin isnt working?

The optware package won't nuke anything, unless you mounted funplug installation directory as /opt.
We try really hard to keep optware stuff separate, to see where files are installed, use /opt/bin/ipkg files <pkg-name>.

Bit of a thread resurrection but... did anyone get the Purple Sonos Web Controller working on their DNS323?

Would love to get it working so I can control Sonos via my Touchpad...
