can't resolve symbol '__stdout'

Hi,

After recently upgrading some packages using the Alt-F package manager some binaries are all failing and returning "can't resolve symbol '__stdout'". Not all binaries, but binaries of note are make and unrar, without make I'm struggling to fix anything else though. Does anyone have any idea what may have caused this and any possible solutions?

Thanks in advance

Are you using optware? It is not (yet) compatible with Alt-F.

Or previously compiled programs of your own? As uClibc has changed since 0.1B7, binary compatibility is not guaranteed.
All packages have been updated since 0.1B7 (hmmm, dev-bundle was not, are/have you using it?)

No using optware.

Yeah I'm using dev-bundle, the issue did only appear to begin when I recently updated the Alt-F packages, I hadn't attempted to compile anything from scratch myself in recent weeks.

Cheers,

Yeah I'm using dev-bundle,

Then that is the problem, it was not updated for RC1, and it is not easy for me to do it now. I though that nobody was using it (bad answer sad )

But it was the only one, all others have, including 'make' and 'unrar'.
What is probably happening is that the outdated dev-bundle libraries are overriding the RC1 released ones. Try removing dev-bundle.

Re: can't resolve symbol '__stdout'

No joy I'm afraid with removing dev-bundle. I'm not massively bothered about it, I'm already making plans to reinstall/reflash since I want to set raid-5 up and fix a few other minor things.

I was just hoping it was either a) a simple fix b) something to report that others might experience

Thanks again for all your work, massively appreciated.
