[HELP] DNS-323 keeps dropping off of my network

I could use some help... I've had a DNS-323 for several years. After a recent move, the 'power  in' jack came loose to the point where the unit wouldn't stay powered 'on'. I RMA'd this unit.
After receiving the new unit, I replaced my hard drives (and didn't create a new RAID system because that would require formatting my drives/ losing my data). This unit would not stay visible on my network. I could map a drive, and for a few minutes I could access the data on it/ make file transfers. After a short while, and randomly, the unit would "fall off" the network and I could no longer access it (the mapped drive would become inaccessible and I couldn't ftp to the unit or navigate to the internal webpage). I RMA'd THIS unit thinking it was defective.
I have received the third and newest unit from D-Link. After repeating the process as before, this unit is ALSO falling off of the network.
Any ideas? I could use some suggestions here...
I appreciate the help.
J

Re: [HELP] DNS-323 keeps dropping off of my network

The newest unit hasn't been "up" for more than a total of an hour... but it the case does say it's at version 1.03.
I'll disable the daylight savings time setting in the webgui and let you know.

*edit*

Well this is weird. Now I can't access the webgui... in fact, I can't access the drive at all (even after a reboot). The D-Link easy search utility (found on the cd rom) finds the assigned IP address, but I can't change the DHCP settings or map a drive within the utility. I can also not access the drive via the IP address or map a drive within Windows explorer.

Ideas? This is screwy... there's no way two units in a row could possibly have similar problems...

Re: [HELP] DNS-323 keeps dropping off of my network

Do you have more than one DHCP server in your network? Are all the IP addresses in the same subnet? Any conflicting IP addresses?

3 * (DNS-323 with 2 * 2TB) = 12TB Running FW v1.08 & FFP v0.5

Re: [HELP] DNS-323 keeps dropping off of my network

Do you have more than one DHCP server in your network? - I don't know... Linksys router... have a Windows 7 laptop, DNS 323, and a  Sabio 4 bay NAS.
Are all the IP addresses in the same subnet? - Yes. I've also turned off the other NAS just in case they are attempting to assign themselves the same IP...
Any conflicting IP addresses? - I don't believe so...

Re: [HELP] DNS-323 keeps dropping off of my network

So no suggestions, huh?
I'd throw the whole thing in the lake... except I need the data on the two disks that are inside the unit. Once I can get that off, I'll be fine...

Just to rule it out, try assigning a different IP address.
