DNS-313 and Mac OS X Lion 10.7

Just installed Lion on my 2010 i7 iMac and everything appears to be working fine except now I can't access my D-Link DNS-313 (fw1.04).  The 313 appears in the finder as normal and I can see the folders but they now have a red no entry sign on them and when I select them it says i do not have permission to enter.

My DNS-323 is working as normal and the 313 works fine on my windows machines and all other devices such as xBox etc ..

The DNS-313 worked fine on Snow Leopard (10.6.8) but for some reason the upgrade to Lion has killed the DNS-313.  I have tried reinstalling firmware and reformatting the hard drive of the 313 but I kept hitting the same wall.

Anyone know what has changed in Lion to cause this and can I fix it or is it the end of the line for the DNS -313 and Mac OS X?

Anyone?

Re: DNS-313 and Mac OS X Lion 10.7

Hey mate I had the same problem...
Surfing the net I heard about changes in smb modules in lion that made it not able to recognise dns 313.

Anyway I had to downgrade again to SL and I live well!
opss...I lived well till now!
Today dns 313 chose to not connect with the lan and I don't know what to do!

Re: DNS-313 and Mac OS X Lion 10.7

Updates:

Rumors say that Apple has implemented SMB modules or fixed SMB bugs or whatever in 10.7.3.
I'm really interested in upgrading and I'd like to know if dns313 works with this release, if you're still running lion.
Please let me know.
thanks

Didn't notice (and didn't expect) any approvement after upgrading to 10.7.3 - so still in situation that can't get DNS-313 to work with Lion.
Probably only way to get it work, is to install and configure Netatalk (AFP) successfully using fun_plug.

Good (i wish) news.
I contact dlink support and, after ignoring my requests for a while, they said to check out their ftp site, because they should release a new fw to fix this problem.
Fingercross..

Ok. So now we just have to wait for it. If you get your hands to it soon, please let me now.

Re: DNS-313 and Mac OS X Lion 10.7

From D-link side I've got no news (honestly I haven't checked during these months)
From my side I recently bought a 2TB TimeCapsule, updated my macbook to lion, activated iCloud service "back to my mac" and now I can access TC hdd over the internet, not in ftp mode but (that's made me cry for joy) in afp so I can stream all my files, I can watch my videos and, hear ye, I can play my whole iTunes library from wherever I want...That's fantastic!
I'm gonna sell my dns313, if someone's interested...
