Hi,
Just recently recieved a 100 Mbit line and I'm not getting any good speeds at all through transmission 2.5. Ican't get more than 2mb/s and that with a maximum of 15 peers for each torrent. I'm currently downloading to a 7200 rpm disk with no raid. I think I use ffp 0.5.
Is there a limit to what kind of broadband connections this NAS can handle? I guess the hardware limits a lot.
Also I recieve some strange error message when using torrentfiles from a specific private tracker. Message says "Tracker sent stop, but no peer found"
Anyone got any clue regarding this?
Thanks in advance.

hi,
your hard disk could not be the problem. A 7.2k rpm disk provides usually a peak read speed >135MB/s. Depending on file system, cache, etc.
You can easily test the speed with a copy job via WinSCP or something else just to get a feeling.
I use a 2TB 7.2k rpm from WD and saw around 10MB/s without any Raid via a copy job.
Cannot say anything to the error message of transmision....

Copying files within my LAN gives med good speeds, so I wonder that it might be a transmission problem. Not the trackers fault either since I earlier maxed out my 10mbit line.
I recently upgraded to the latest transmission version, it gives me the tracker error and then maybe this error.
Is it as simple as upgrading to downgrade to an older version?
Thankful for all possible feedback.
